Here's my Waiting on Wednesday...Purple Three-quel Edition!
The days are growing darker for 17-year-old demon trapper Riley Blackthorne. With her father’s reanimated body back safely, Beck barely speaking to her because of her tryst with a hunky fallen angel and a deal freshly made with Lucifer, she has enough on her hands to last a normal teenage lifetime. Though she bargained with Heaven to save his life, her ex-boyfriend Simon has told the Vatican’s elite team of demon hunters that she’s working with Hell. So now she’s on the run, at the top of everyone’s most-wanted list.
But it’s becoming clear that this is bigger than either Riley or Beck, and rapidly getting out of control. Someone's tampering with Atlanta's Holy Water, and it’s on Riley to figure out who. On top of that, there’s something wrong with the demons; they’re working together—and refusing to die. The trappers and hunters are doing their best, but civilians are falling in harm’s way.
Caught between her bargain with Heaven and her promise to Lucifer, Riley fears the final war is coming—and it may be closer than anyone thinks…
I'm DYING for this one. I've read both The Demon Trapper's Daughter and Soul Thief and I adored both of them. (Team Beck! \o/) I can't wait to get my hands on this one.
In the end, all that’s left is an echo.Loved Loved LOVED the first two Body Finder novels. And while I'm more than a teeny bit wary of Rafe (I love Jay like there's no tomorrow) I'm really looking forward to this one.
Violet kept her morbid ability to sense dead bodies a secret from everyone except her family and her childhood-best-friend-turned-boyfriend, Jay Heaton. That is until forensic psychologist Sara Priest discovered Violet’s talent and invited her to use her gift to track down murderers. Now, as she works with an eclectic group of individuals—including mysterious and dangerously attractive Rafe—it’s Violet’s job to help those who have been murdered by bringing their killers to justice.
When Violet discovers the body of a college girl killed by “the girlfriend collector” she is determined to solve the case. But now the serial killer is on the lookout for a new “relationship” and Violet may have caught his eye....
The third book in the Paranormalcy trilogy.
The final chapter of Evie's adventures. Old friends, new ones, all wrapped up in impossible decisions. And some ball gowns. Because what's a life of normal and paranormal drama without a ball gown or two?
So many three-quels this coming year are purple. Coincidence? I think not. But they're all gorgeous and I want them all! And since I adored Paranormalcy, there's no way this one wasn't going to make my list.
So that's it for me, lovelies. What about you? Let me know what you're waiting on in the comments!
Love ya!

I love the Body Finder series and really hope Rafe doesn't mess up what Violet and Jay have because I sense a love triangle in the future.

I'm willing to forgive the faults in Soul Thief to read the third book. Why? A purple cover and the conclusion are enough to bring me back.
ReplyDeleteI'm soooooo excited for The Last Echo. I really need this book. And Endlessly is another I can't stand the wait for.
Have an amazing reading week!
