In My Mailbox (19)

In My Mailbox was created by The Story Siren. It's a weekly meme where bloggers share the books they've received throughout the week.

If you'd like to participate, or would like to know more, here's the link: In My Mailbox

Here's what I picked up this week.  Once again, the allure of the library was too strong for me to resist...

Just Listen - Sarah Dessen
Choker - Elizabeth Woods
Hold Me Closer, Necromancer - Lish McBride
The Nature of Jade - Deb Caletti
Extraordinary - Nancy Werlin
Anna and the French Kiss - Stephanie Perkins
Fallen - Lauren Kate
Incarceron - Catherine Fisher

I've got a lot of reading ahead of me...and I cannot wait.

What about you?

What was in your mailbox this week?

Happy Reading!

  2. Looks like you made out pretty good at the library! I know I'm the same way, it's hard to resist leaving a good book on the shelf if it's calling to you.

Choker and Fallen are both on my list of books to read.

  11. How I wish my local library had a great range of books like these, then I wouldn't have to spend all my money on books!

I've heard great things about Incarceron and Anna and the French Kiss, although I haven't read them myself yet. Choker has such mixed reviews. It seems to be a love/hate thing. I do have it on my Kindle but haven't got to it yet although I'm looking forward to finding out which one I am!

  16. All great books that I either read, are on my TBR list or at least on my radar. I wish there was a library with English books that I could check out. It would save me a lot of money.

    Happy reading :-)

  25. It looks like you had a wonderful trip to the library! I LOVED Anna and the French Kiss... I only have glowing thoughts about the novel so I really hope you fall in love with the novel too!

    Happy Reading!! :)

  26. The Fallen series is a great one to begin now :) because then if you like it, there's just one more for you to read, and Passion, the third book, is out this summer. And Anna and the French Kiss is one of those fantastic contemporary YAs crackling with romantic tension! Both such great picks :).

And Extraordinary! I didn't finish that one yet but Nancy Werlin is a really brilliant writer who twits the traditional portrayals of fairy tales--really enjoyed Impossible by her. If you finish Extraordinary and like it, then check that one out next!

And Sarah Dessen :). I haven't read that particular one of hers--just What Happened to Goodbye and the Truth about Forever, but they're awesome, so I don't doubt that Just Listen will also be a great pick :D.

What a wonderful trip to the library!! It looks like you've got quite the week ahead of you. Happy reading!!
