Cover-Judgers Anonymous (7)

Never judge a book by its cover.

If you've read my blog, you've probably heard me refer to myself as a shameless cover-judger.  I know, I'm seeking help.  But I don't think I'm the only one out there who does it.

So I invite you, readers, to share your opinion, and maybe we can find a cure for this problem together...or not.

Here's today's choice... The Gathering by Kelley Armstrong.

I loved this one, and I absolutely love both the covers.  The North American one is on the left, the UK one is on the right.  I'm loving the blue one, both because it's beautiful and it goes with the covers for the Darkest Powers trilogy, but I also think the green and gray one is mysterious and gorgeous.

I can't decide.  What do you guys think?

Have you read it?  Which one do you think goes better with the story?  If you haven't read it, which would you be more likely to pluck off the shelf?

  1. Personally I prefer the UK cover; I usually do though, maybe it's bias cause I live here?

  3. I'm not sure I like the face in the arm thing. my father-in-law has a tatoo of his wife's face right on his arm like that. It's all I can thinka bout when I see this. If it were just the turn-back girl without the larger silouette, I would like it more.
