Information for Authors/Publishers/Agents... Promote your Books!
I read and review YA/Teen and Middle-grade novels, as well as some NA here and there. I'm more than happy to review your novel, but first, please read the guidelines below so that you can get the most out of the review...
Books Accepted...
I review mainly NA/YA/Teen and Middle-Grade fiction novels. That means that anything NOT in those categories is going to be a much harder sell when it comes to sneaking into my to-read pile . I prefer the books to be in printed copy format (ARCs), but I'm willing to accept digital copies at this point as well. However, I do prefer the digital copies to be in ePub or Kindle format, since that's what my eReaders use (PDF versions end up very tiny and very hard to read).
Review Expectations...
I will review any book I finish, and my review will reflect my honest opinion of the novel. I will do my best to highlight the aspects of the title I enjoyed, but if I cannot find anything good to write a review about, I will most likely not review it, as to not bring bad publicity towards the title. Authors and everyone else in the publishing industry all work very hard to bring these titles to print, and I'd prefer not to promote hatred towards any part of the publishing process. Also, I will gladly provide you with a link to my review upon its completion.
Timing...
If you'd like me to review a forthcoming, not yet published title, please forward it to me at least a month in advance of the publication date. Reviews are given priority as per their pubdates, and I will endeavor to post my review of the title as close to the publication date as possible.
Contests...
I'm more than willing to host contests on my blog. Please email me at gkgrlbk@gmail.com if you're interested in having me host a contest for one of your titles.
